Inspired by classic English deckchairs, Gallant & Jones offer handmade chairs using eco friendly materials. The chairs are finished in walnut and the appealing, modern-patterned fabric slings are interchangeable. With every chair purchase $5 is donated to Love Trees.

While the lack of real summer is not just a rumor San Franciscans spread to keep away the tourists, I still find it challenging to dress for warmer days. This year, I just want to stick to sandy tones. Built around white basics, I can throw on a black sweater, scarves and layers when need be. I’m looking forward to easy, fuss-free dressing.

I’m obsessed with finding THE perfect beach bag. Currently, I’m loving these hand woven striped totes. The tote is a result of a collaboration between catsudio and Sabala, a non profit society in Southern India. Sabala aids widows and economically challenged women in India by providing them the opportunity to learn skills and translate those into activities that generate income. The tote is available in both red and blue stripes at Calypso.

While online browsing for summer clothes, I chanced upon these suede leggings by Stouls. Call me crazy, but I seriously desire these. No, they’re not practical. They’re ridiculously spendy, they’re not even right for summer. They look so supple, so soft, like a cat.

Seriously. I want. I’m just saying.

These holders made from recycled bicycle spokes would make wonderful panna cotta or votive containers. Perfect for a casual outdoor party.

Prada’s Print Collection, which uses archived company prints and fabrics, is a clear nod to the 1950s. The capsule collection consists of a single vintage-inspired dress style, ballerina slippers, and a quilted faille silk bag with a chain strap. The limited edition collection will be available exclusively at Prada boutiques worldwide in mid-May.

While I can skip these super dainty ballet flats and the retro sundress, I’m loving the idea of the printed Chanel-like chain strap bag. Predictable as it may be, I’d pair one of these cheery babies with the ubiquitous striped top.
