Power Plant

Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

Engineer turned photographer, Steve Back, captured over the course of three years images while in aircraft over Hutt Lagoon in Kalabarri, Western Australia. The insanely saturated colors are undoctored, capturing the largest micro algae production plant in the world — with colors so vibrantly powerful, the plant is sourced as food coloring. {See more of Steve Back’s work online.
